Determined to play a major role in expanding the knowledge about Plant sciences and continue
to produce professionals.
Mission
To instil the students with knowledge and to promote practical skills in the field of botany so as
to develop a centre of excellence.
Objective
To produce that can quality students fulfil the feature needs.

Course Outcomes 

  • Students will be able to explain how plants function at the level of tissue, flowerdevelopment. Drawing upon this knowledge, they will be able to give specific examples of the physiological adaptations, development, reproduction and mode of life cycle & different forms of plants.
  • Students will be able to use the evidence of comparative biology to explain how the theory of evolution offers the scientific explanation for the unity and diversity of life on earth. They will be able to use specific examples to interpret how modification has shaped plant morphology, physiological and life history of different plants.
  • Students will be able to explain the ecological interconnectedness of life on earth by touring energy and nutrient flow through the environment. They will be able to relate the physical features of the environment to the Structure of populations Communities and ecosystems.
  • Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in the experimental techniques & methods analysis appropriate for their area” of Specialization within the subject.
  • Students will be able to identify relevant works for a particular topic & evaluate the scientific context of these works.
  • Students will learn to gain knowledge about various plants of economic we, understand the role of plants in human welfare & know importance of plants & plant products.
  • Students will creates a favorable attitude towards mushrooms Cultivation and will also help them to understand its economic importance and source of livelihood.
  • Students will be able to compare & contrast the characteristics of plants, algae and fungi that differentiate them from each other & from other form of life.

To built inquisitiveness in the minds of young people and instill the joy of creative learning and experiments in the field of science particularly chemistry.
MISSION
To enrich and equip the students with skills ,provide right temperament for quality and holistic learning so as to enable them to harness creativity in their field of interest and reach maturity in their intellectual , social and ethical values as well .

The graduate will:
PEO1: Providing quality education as per the needs and requirement for their future careers and interest.
PEO2: Generate confidence and interest in the pupils through core understanding of the subject and emphasizing on practicals and their applicability in the day to day life and their future relevance.

DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY

Vision

  • To provide the students with diversity of knowledge so that they can utilize their knowledge for the welfare of the society.

Mission

  • To create receptive mindset among the students of the department through field study, project work, study tour etc.
  • By engaging students in various activities like community health services.

Objective

  • To impact research oriented learning process through seminars, journal publication, and by making them participate in various state level and national seminars.

Course Outcomes(Cos)

  • The knowledge of life cycle of animals, animal physiology help the students to keep well the domesticated animals like dog, cat, rabbit etc.
  • Their syllabus also equips them in the fields of fishery, piggery, poultry and mixed pisciculture.
  • They can also take up subject like rearing different animals that are inter-dependent on each other for food “Integrated Animal Farming”.
  • The knowledge of Biodiversity and Pollution is imparted, therefore they can create public awareness programme by checking pollution and creating healthy environment.
  • The student can join NGO that works for public health awareness, regarding awareness of disease spread by virus, bacteria etc.
  • They can appear examination like IFS (Indian Forest Service) or any equivalent exam where Bachelor Degree B.Sc or B.Sc Honours is the qualification required.
  • Take up teaching profession at high school level.
  • The students by developing personal skill can work in the field of sericulture farm, apiculture farm, zoological park, museum.
